On behalf of Sheng Dian, Lawyer Mao Peng presented the Letter of Appointment of Sheng Dian International Legal Counsel to Lawyer Li Chong Ming。
Lawyer Li Chongming said that he was very happy to meet with his colleagues in Shengdian again and expressed his expectation and gratitude for the appointment. Li Chongming further shared with the participants, pointing out that the improvement of Sino US trade environment and political environment has brought new opportunities to the legal profession. With the increase of foreign-related business and communication opportunities, the further expansion of overseas e-commerce compliance market and the use of digital currency, the legal profession is also facing new challenges. For foreign trade enterprises, they are currently facing challenges such as collection risk, logistics risk and contract risk, which need to be dealt with by raising risk awareness and strengthening contract management, and at the same time, insurance and other ways can be considered to reduce business risks. In the case of the actual controller of the enterprise going overseas, it is necessary to use other judgment methods to ensure the feasibility and safety of asset execution. Personal guarantees in the business environment may lead to the isolation of offshore assets from domestic affairs, or may meet certain specific needs or solve special problems. Finally, Mr. Li shared a case involving the enforcement of extraterritorial judgments in the United States, emphasizing the importance of strengthening contract management to ensure that the U.S. judiciary can support collection, logistics and contracts.
Lawyer Li's in-depth and simple explanation, the active and enthusiastic questions of the participants, the unique views and insightful discussions of all parties made the sharing and exchange sessions wonderful.
